In mid October a 14 year old girl's cell phone was seized by school officials in Michigan. She had taken explicit pictures of herself and was sending them to others. Local law enforcement stated that as many as 200 others were sent the images. Due to the nature of the images and her age they face possession of child pornography charges.
Parents need to have discussions with their children on what is acceptable to do with their cell phones and computers. They need to check on what their kids are doing by looking at the phone on occasion to see what kind of messages and pictures are being send and received.
