The ability to use the new features they offer is tantalizing and we al want to be on the cutting edge with the technology. You can do so and maintain your privacy by going through the settings on your social networking sites about once a month. Be cautious as new features are added and make sure you know what the changes do to your privacy settings. Talk to your kids about how they use the social networks and make sure they understand that everyone they meet online is not their friend, they just may be out to take advantage of their innocence
